I feel that my art is a vehicle for knowing and

understanding the world. I am attempting to impact

others with my feelings and passions about the world as I interpret it.

I seek to integrate my passions into each piece, with the hope of

communicating things with color and shapes that may possibly leave

my viewer with a smile of a memory or feeling. I am constantly

collaborating with my world to expand as an artist; consequently, the

subjects of my art are the ever changing and evolving passions of my

life.

I was an artist in the Yampa Valley, Steamboat Springs, Colorado for 40 years, creating

in various capacities including graphic arts, sign making, ceramics

production and art education. I retired from a 30 year teaching

career in 2023 and relocated to Fort Collins where I have set up my

art studio in the downtown area.

My eclectic art leads me to identify as a designer and visual

interpreter.
